Very easy to work with, good guidance throughout and easy to communicate with

This project effectively models aerodynamic heating in a rotating spherical vacuum chamber using advanced CFD methods. The comparison between air and helium environments is insightful, with helium showing clear thermal advantages. Including viscous heating and full Navier-Stokes equations adds rigor. Cooling recommendations are practical and well-aligned with the findings. Overall, a technically sound and impactful study.

Working with Adaptive Concepts LLC on the thermal management of a fast-paced spherical centrifuge was a fantastic experience. Our team dove into full-on simulations using the Navier-Stokes and energy equations, even factoring in viscous heating to see how the system performs in air and helium. We uncovered some really important insights, especially about how helium has better thermal properties, which led us to design tips for preventing overheating. This project really helped us strengthen our understanding of thermal design and showed just how crucial it is to get boundary conditions and fluid properties right in high-speed enclosed systems. I’m proud to have played a part in a study that improves design strategies for aerospace and biomedical fields.

One of the challenges in any project is " Scope Creep", the students and Dave were able to focus on ergonomic benefits of the Prototype medical device. My overall feedback of An Emergency Tsunami Evacuation System is great. I enjoyed the time I had working on this project, I learned a lot about the factors that go into the mitigation efforts of tsunamis.

I really enjoyed working with David Clark! He was great when responding to questions and was easily reachable. This project allowed my team to further expand our knowledge on tsunamis and provide Adaptive Concepts LLC with new ideas!
