Details

Go Together, Inc. aims to enhance its K-12 Transportation Platform by developing a self-service administrative portal. The current system requires significant manual intervention, which can be time-consuming and inefficient for school and district customers. By creating a user-friendly portal, the project seeks to empower these customers to independently manage key administrative tasks such as scheduling, route management, and user permissions. This will not only improve operational efficiency but also enhance the overall customer experience by providing more control and flexibility. The project will involve integrating the new portal into Go Together’s existing web application, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience. The team will focus on creating an intuitive interface that aligns with the needs of school administrators, making it easy to navigate and use.

Deliverables

The project will deliver a fully functional self-service admin portal integrated into the existing Go Together web application. Key deliverables include:

- A user-friendly interface designed for school and district administrators.

- Features for managing scheduling, route management, and user permissions.

- Seamless integration with the existing platform to ensure consistent user experience.

- Documentation and user guides to assist customers in utilizing the portal effectively.

Key Deliverables

  • Graphic Asset Request Feature: Allow customers to request customized graphics tailored to their school branding directly through the portal.
  • Template Library and Downloads: Provide easy access for customers to download customizable templates for communication campaigns, onboarding, and ongoing engagement.
  • Support Ticketing System: Integrate a streamlined support request system, enabling rapid issue resolution and tracking.
  • SIS Integration: Facilitate seamless integration and continuous synchronization with customers' Student Information Systems (SIS) through a secure, user-friendly interface.

Ideal Project Outcomes

  • A fully operational self-service admin portal prototype ready for testing with select Go Together customers.
  • User feedback and testing results demonstrated improved efficiency, customer satisfaction, and reduced administrative workload.
  • Detailed documentation on usage, maintenance, and further potential enhancements.

Every school district in North America is barreling toward a transportation cliff. The crisis is here: bus driver shortages are permanent, costs are skyrocketing, and electrification—while essential—doesn’t solve the core problem. There is no second wave of drivers. And without a new approach, kids won’t get to school—and districts will pay the price in attendance, funding, and community trust.

Go Together is the breakthrough. We’re transforming how students get to and from school—faster, safer, and at 50% the cost of traditional transportation. Our platform activates the power already in every school community: parents, caregivers, neighbors—people who want kids to succeed but need the tools to show up.

Founded by Charles King and me, Go Together isn’t waiting for the system to fix itself. We’re already partnering with school districts and individual schools to modernize how students move—by enabling vetted, community-based carpooling, walking, biking, and even public transit options through a digital platform built for scale.

This is a mission-critical moment. Every day a child misses school due to transportation is a lost opportunity—and a data point pushing a district further behind. Go Together is ready. The market is demanding it. The time is now.
